Thirteen face unlicensed contractor charges

Craigslist is an awesome place to find great deals. However, buyers beware buying services. Not all ads should be treated equal.
In Northeast Florida men were advertising on Craigslist as home repair handymen and arrested in Clay County on charges of being unlicensed contractors and advertising. They were caught via undercover sting. Officers posed as customers, home owners. Some of them had described themselves as “electrical contractors”. The ages ranged from 24 to 57.

Make sure you check out the contractor before you use them for work. Make sure they are licensed, bonded and insured. This is for your protection.
