We had to have power turned off to part of a home owners electrical service for a panel replacement. It was scheduled to be the following morning. However as the electrician was doing other work in the garage the main breaker started to arc, sizzle and smoke began to bellow out. We called Clark Public Utilities out to do the power shut down the same day.
The electrician was able to replace the panel and call back in for a power reconnect. The PUD service tech responded is a better response time than predicted. Once all done the electrician thanked the PUD Service tech for coming out and getting that done. The service tech said it was his job to do so.
It may have been his job to do so but it was done in a timely and clean manner. He also made life a lot easier for the electrician and the home owner.
It is over looked many times that it may be someones job, or just doing their job, however; when done with a smile and ease to all parties it is those things that are taken for granted and something we all appreciate.
