Don’t replace a breaker in your panel with a different brand unless it is rated to do so.

If your house was to burn down and it was decided that the panel played a part in the fire then this action might have voided your homeowner’s insurance policy. Some electricians have been known to use a different brand name just so they do not have to a part run. Look for electrical contractors that carry all breakers or classified rated breakers on their vans for your safety. There are electrical companies that carry thousands of parts to do most jobs. Also look for contractors that have in written warranty for work being completed in your home. Some offer as much as three years on parts and labor. For your investment, three years is money well spent.
